Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 June 2026

This is a plain-language template that reflects how Plixogram actually works. It is not legal advice — have it reviewed by qualified counsel before you rely on it in production.

1. Scope

This policy explains what information Plixogram collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website and the authenticated app.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: your email address and authentication details needed to sign in.
  • Public Instagram data you ask us to track: the public handle you submit and the public signals associated with it (followers, following, posts, likes, comments, video views).
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor. We receive subscription status, not your full card number.
  • Support messages: the name, email, and message you send via our contact form.
  • Usage data: privacy-conscious product and web analytics to understand and improve the Service.

3. What we do not collect

We never ask for or store your Instagram password, and we never access private account data or act on your account. We only read public Instagram information.

4. How we use information

  • To provide follower-growth delivery and the tracking dashboard.
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send transactional email (receipts, account notices).
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To secure the Service and understand aggregate usage so we can improve it.

5. Service providers we share with

We share the minimum necessary data with processors that help us run the Service, including:

  • An Instagram public-data provider (to read public signals for the handle you track).
  • A payment processor (billing and subscription management).
  • An email provider (transactional email).
  • Error-monitoring and analytics providers (reliability and product improvement).
  • Our cloud/hosting platform.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Public Instagram data

Data about the handles you track is public information, read from a third-party provider and stamped with the time it was read. We store snapshots over time so you can see trends, and we don't store Instagram media itself.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and privacy-conscious analytics to measure usage. Where required by your region, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, subject to legal obligations.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise them, contact us.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit and secure handling of credentials and secrets. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will revise the “last updated” date above. Questions or requests? Contact us or email privacy@plixogram.com.
